About the Library
The Dawson City Community Library is in Robert Service School. The library serves Dawson City and the surrounding area.
The community librarian and a team of volunteers run the library.
Meeting Room and Study Space
There are several tables and 15 seats which provide a quiet place for study.
There’s a shared meeting room with a whiteboard. Non-profit and community groups do not pay a fee for booking the room. For booking, contact the librarian.
Computers, Internet and Wi-Fi
We offer 4 public computer stations running on the Windows operating system and free Wi-Fi. These are available during library hours.
Printing and photocopying
Printing is free for 10 pages per day. There’s a small fee for additional printing.
Accessibility features
We have an:
- accessibility ramp at the entrance;
- accessible restroom; and
- elevator to the adult fiction section upstairs (with librarian help).
