Requests and suggestions

If you can't find what you're looking for, you can request a book, eBook, DVD, or other item be brought in. While we consider all suggestions, it is not possible to add every request to the collection. In making decisions, our selection team considers the Yukon Public Libraries Collection Policy, as well as available budget and space. Requests are limited to 4 at a time.

Attention! Submitting a request is different from placing a hold. You can place an unlimited amount of holds on items in the catalogue from our system of 15 libraries throughout the Territory and pick them up at your home library.

Library staff may try to borrow specialized, out of print, and older titles from an Outside library via inter-library loan. Note that most libraries will not loan textbooks or DVDs via interlibrary loan.

Place a request

Requests can take up to three months. You will receive an email when we process your request, and you can also check the progress of your request in your library account under the heading "Materials Requests".
